Whaley Interviewed in High Performance Computing Podcast
Clint Whaley, an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science was recently interviewed about his ATLAS project in a High Performance Computing oriented podcast. ATLAS (Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra Package) is research effort aimed at leveraging empirical tuning to provide highly tuned the Linear Algebra operations, which underlie much of the simulation and modeling in the sciences, engineering and industry.
