Richard L. Murphy and Mary W. Bancroft CS Book Fund

This fund was initially created by Richard L. Murphy and Mary W. Bancroft and has had additional donors and is designed to loan textbooks and reference books to advanced undergraduate CS students.

 

Qualifications

  • Must apply for the program and have filed a FAFSA with UTSA.
  • Must be enrolled on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 credit hours as an undergraduate (6 hours in final semester before graduation)) and actively pursuing a degree in computer science at UTSA

 

How to apply

Download and fill out the Application Form.

Submit an unofficial transcript indicating the course and textbook for which they wish to be loaned.

Include a brief explanation (in 200 words or less) of any extenuating circumstances that prompted their request.

Drop off completed application form to CS Department front office NPB 3.108.

All application materials must be received by the Scholarship Committee in the Department of Computer Science by August 30, 2017.

Applicants will be reviewed by the Award Committee. Successful applicants will be notified by email and mail.
