The SHOES-09 Symposium consists of invited papers in the field of software and hardware optimization for embedded systems. The goal of SHOES-09 is to provide an additional forum within ICESS-09 for interaction among researchers and further discussion on the ICESS topics:

Important Dates:

  • Submission deadline: by invitation only;

  • Author notification: March 2, 2009

  • Author confirmation: March 10, 2009

  • Final manuscript: March 16, 2009

  • Registration deadline: March 16, 2009

Paper Submission Guidelines:

The invited authors should follow the instructions of the "Online Author Kit" at the ICESS'09 website for the preparation of the final manuscript. The page limit is 6 pages. Two additional pages can be purchased with US$100 per page. The author registration date and the final manuscript due date are strict. Please do follow the announcements on the ICESS'09 web site.

Accepted papers will be published in the main/symposia proceedings (EI index) of ICESS'09, published by IEEE Computer Society Press. At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register as a full participant of the symposium to have the paper published in the proceedings.
