Description (From the Undergrad Catalog, Sciences):

1073	Introductory Programming for Scientific Applications
	(3-0) 3 hours credit. Prerequisite: MTC 1023. Introductory programming. Sorting and ranking, plotting, numerical taxonomy, solution of nonlinear equations, linear regression, and solution of linear systems. May not be applied toward a major in computer science.
Note: MTC 1023 is College Algebra and you need this prerequisite.
