Problem Description

Solve problem 8.S from the textbook (pp 223). Refer to 7-segment display on page 218. (total 30 pts)

You need to submit: 

  1. Truth table (7 pts)
  2. K-MAP and corresponding minimum product-of-sums expression for each output. (14 pts)
  3. Printout of  the designed circuit (should connect with 7-segment display circuit to verify your result)  (9 pts)

Note: if your design has more than 11 gates (not counting the four inverters for the inputs), it will be graded
for 80% credit

Hand-in Requirements (Deliverables)

Staple all your hand-ins as required in problem description to form a single packet. Write your name, course and  recitation section number (CS2511.001 or CS2511.002) on the front.
